Criteria and weights

  1. Business value25%Potential contribution to a defined business objective, customer outcome, quality improvement, risk reduction or operational improvement.
  2. Strategic alignment15%Alignment with stated organizational priorities and the presence of an executive sponsor.
  3. Implementation feasibility15%Practicality given available skills, integration needs, process complexity and dependencies.
  4. Data readiness15%Availability, quality, accessibility, ownership and suitability of the data required.
  5. Risk and controllability15%Ability to manage privacy, security, reliability, compliance and operational risks with appropriate controls.
  6. Time to learn15%Ability to test the central hypothesis through a bounded pilot and obtain useful evidence within a reasonable period.
